YOGIC LIFESTYLE RETREAT
Take the chance to spend a week in sangha – your yogic family
We are very happy to announce this opportunity to meet in person in the natural ashram environment in Szolad, Hungary. This is our first “on-site” program in many years and we are very much looking forward to sharing this SPECIAL TIME with you.
You will meet and interact with the teachers and course directors of SYAE, who will deliver a versatile program to deepen your awareness and experience of yogic sadhana and lifestyle. Further you will have interactive sessions, where in group discussions you have the opportunity to deepen your understanding on yogic way of living.
“Yogic lifestyle is not defined by how many hours of yoga and meditation you practice. That is irrelevant. Yogic lifestyle is the concept of living a harmonious and correct form of life.”

Objectives of the Retreat
A wide variety of classical yoga techniques of the Satyananda System will be taught by our team of experienced teachers and in theory sessions knowledge will be transmitted and personal experiences shared.
To deepen the ongoing effort of integration of personal yoga sadhana into activities of daily life and to guide this process towards the realistic expression of yogic lifestyle.
Yogic Lifestyle
Yoga converts itself into a lifestyle, when one begins to live the principles of yoga on a moment-to-moment basis. Then one’s life becomes an expression of living in accordance with the ideals and principles that yoga adheres to, and happiness and joy become natural expression in our daily life.
It is easy to live in the spirit of yoga when we are in a conducive environment of an ashram, when we are together in sangha, when we are following rhythms of the nature, and when we use yoga in our interactions and do yogic practices in various times of the day. To live in the spirit of yoga is to apply karma, bhakti, jnana yoga in the normal daily activities and interactions.
“When you integrate different yoga practices to aid the development of potentials in life, you begin to live a yogic lifestyle.”
Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati
